Alicia Keys Calls Motherhood ‘Bliss’
The gorgeous Grammy-winner, who gave birth to her son, Egypt, on Thursday, took to her Twitter page to share her maternal joy.
“There is no word to properly describe LOVE, to describe BLISS, to express a FEELING like this!!!” Alicia Tweeted on Sunday.
“Thank U 4 your love, support & prayers! ;-),” she added.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, a representative for Alicia said the star gave birth on Thursday night in New York. Alicia and her husband, rapper-producer Swizz Beatz, have named their son Egypt Dean.
Egypt is the first child for the 29-year-old superstar and the fourth child for Swizz, whose real name is Kaseem Dean. The couple married on July 31.
Swizz, 31, took time to Tweet about his son’s arrival on Friday, calling the arrival another blessing.
“I’m so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life wowwwwww!” he wrote.
